On April 2022 we accepted a kind invitation from our dear friend Olympic medallist Javier Bosma to come to Alicante and organize the camp on the Mediterranean beach. A group of 30 (+families) joined the action and we had a great time training, competing, supporting each other, tasting paella & local wines, visiting historic locations and relaxing at the cosy beach of San Juan.

 

We came me back to Alicante on April 2023 and 2024, got blessed with amazing weather, got even a better welcome, top quality of training and stormed the International Beach Tournament by taking 2 golds every year.

 

We really fell in love with the place and Javi’s way of coaching combined with unique BBC vibes create a perfect formula for quality time.

PROGRAM:

Due to direct flights options from Vilnius and Kaunas to Alicante we offer two options of the camp program. You’re free to choose which is more convenient for you: ‘WEEK’ or ‘MAX’ a. k. a. ‘WEEK + 2-day International Tournament’.

 

WEEK – April 6th to 11th.
• 6-7 days of action in BBC family atmosphere.
• 8-9 training sessions led by Javier Bosma and his top notch team of international coaches. Everyone will enjoy a healthy amount of physical activity as well as energy for afternoon fun.
• Training plan adjusted to your level day by day.
• 1-2 camp tournaments. 2x2 and/or King & Queen of the Court.
• Family dinner - “Paella Especial”.
• Boat Party at the Mediterranean Sea (optional)
• 4 morning ‘wake-up’ sessions at the beach (yoga, meditation).
• “BBC Original” T-shirt for every participant.
• Social games & competitions.
• Free use of balls & courts.

 

MAX – April 6th to April 13th.
• 8 days of action.
• WEEK program + participation in 2-day amazing International Beach Volleyball Tournament Alicante Open 2025 (2x2 & MIX). Lots of playing time, international crowd, great support by camp fellows. BTW, in 2023 BBC Family took gold both at Male and Female tournament in 2024 took Female gold and MIX gold, so you will have to defend the titles.

 

COACHES:

When organizing a camp our major focus is ALWAYS on the quality of coaches. We prefer open minded, passionate, attentive and devoted personalities over titles and imposing resumes. We choose people that have knowledge and 3+ yr. experience working amateurs.

TRAINING APPROACH:

During the week coaches follow a structured training plan which is chosen based on the level of the group. Every evening we meet and discuss daily progress trying to find individual solutions for every person so you would have the best experience and benefit the most from every session.

 

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES (not included into the price):

A couple of weeks before the start of the camp we will propose some group tours for the participants. For example, vine tasting tour at the bodega with dinner, cultural tours to Altea or the Santa Barbara castle. Everyone will be able to decide whether to join or not. ORGANIZER:

Baltic Beach Camp. We’ve been organizing beach volleyball camps in Nida (Lithuania), Cyprus & Turkey since 2013. Last year ~400 people participated in our camps. Our mission is to create an experience where people clean their heads, strengthen their bodies and open their hearts. Quality training sessions and top notch coaches is a must in our camps, however, we also put major focus on other activities like socializing, teambuilding & cultural activities, healthy approach towards training & competition and ‘inner game’ of volleyball.

ACCOMMODATION: (not included into the price):

Our recommendations:

• Option 1. - Apartment. There are plenty to choose from in the area. With kitchen and for a decent price. As soon as you register, we’ll put you on closed FB group where you can cooperate with other people if you wish. Check the location of the courts (link above) and find the best option.

• Option 2. - Hotel. There are a couple of hotels within the walking distance. We’re still in negotiations but the prices seem to be higher compared to apartment options. We’ll share information as soon as we get a discount price for the camp participants. We’re in contact with Hotel Almirante, Hotel Castilla Alicante, Hotel Alicante Golf.
